Africa Ntjilo Empowerment

Through orchestra music education, we empower eSwatini children and youth’s everyday life by driving an authentic learning experience and balanced physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development. We strive to nurture them not only as outstanding musicians with skills and knowledge but as future leaders who are capable of exercising Africa’s ownership, identity and dignity on a global stage.

What We Do

Global Musicians at Ntjilo

Talent donation of professional musicians is the key to our project.

Practice global leadership and contribute to flourishing classical music in Africa!

Jaida Hawkins,

You can tell that representation really matters. When a little black girl sees a black woman playing the violin, shes like I did not know I can do that. I think it is really important that we destigmatized classical music.

I believe the power of music can transform one’s life, and ultimately the entire community. I expect to witness that here in Eswatini and want to contribute my musical talents to bringing this positive flywheel impact.

Joseph Kim,

Before going to Eswatini, I was fresh out of college, did not have full-time teaching experience. What I have experienced in Eswatini was not just about teaching, it was eye-opening experience.
